grant information
Child Development Foundation Board of Directors is comprised of individuals from various backgrounds and work focus but are all united in concert with the Mission and Goals of CDF. These individuals have the responsibility of studying each and every Grant Application received on its own merits, and they collectively decide how and to whom the Grants are awarded.

Child Development Foundation Grant Cycle begins on January 1 each year with Groups and Organizations requesting the Grant Application and Instructions from CDF's Office in Norristown, either by phone or by email. Grant Applications may also be downloaded here.

The Grant Applications are due back to the CDF Office, fully completed, by March 31. The Applications are distributed to the Board Members who then begin their review. At the Annual Grant Distribution Meeting held at the end of May, the discussions about each individual Application begin. The Board makes a conscious effort to award Grants where it feels the special needs children will be best served based on the information provided.

The Grant Awardees are notified within one week after the Annual Meeting and are invited to attend the Annual Distribution Event held at the end of June to receive their Award. This event has become a tremendous opportunity for each of these groups and organizations to meet, share information, and, in some cases, collaborate with each other to achieve their common goals.
